A beautiful organic pumpkin from our garden, prepped and ready to be roasted for a pasta dish this winter night.
Super proud to feature on Stone Soup today.
Garden to table - many, many organic leaves from the garden - kale, chard, cavolo nero, spinach, with some onion, garlic, lemon zest, roasted walnuts, parmesan, feta, onion, thyme, rosemary and salt and pepper, all wrapped up in filo. It's an oldie but one heck of a goodie for a lovely evening with friends.
Garden to plate harvest basket.
We've just had some lovely days away at our dear friends place @kiaorabay @reuben____george in the central Hawkes Bay.

Chayote! Chayote! Let me hear you say Chayote! Chayote at the front, Chayote at the back. Chayote game is always, inexplicably strong. If you want to know more about this amazing vegetable, scroll back for a Chayote fan post.
Sustained my body, mind and soul with some of my best girls in some of the best landscape in the motu.
