Despite his now busy legs, Albie is still very happy to snuggle up to me and be a passenger as we travel somewhere new. We walked over the hill from where we were camping and were spoiled with a treasure of a beach – very quiet, awaiting our footsteps.
Like the captain of a ship, Albie pointed from his vantage on my hip to what was ahead, exclaiming “Beach! Beach!”, and as we hit the sand he leaned forward to be put down on the ground. Away you go wee explorer, at every turn a new discovery.
And then its time to head back home over the hill. My heart is full as I take our tired and happy passenger back to our camping home.
