Take 43.

Now that Freddy has joined us we are elbow-deep in the paperwork required to emigrate back to the UK.

First job? British passports for the boys (how my heart swells to type “the boys”) .

The passport photo requirements at face value seem pretty easy – kids must be straight-on to the camera for a head and shoulder shot, two ears must be visible, eyes open, mouth shut.

Albie, who is desperately looking forward to the airplane ride, was earnestly trying to follow my instructions, so that he “can go on the plane to Eng-ga-land!”.

It’s a tall order though when you’re three.

We got there in the end.

43 photos later. Bless his cotton socks. And his spiffy new haircut.

  1. Haha gorgeous boy!! He looks so grown up with his haircut 🙂 I’ve always thought the hardest part about taking children overseas is getting the passport photos…

  2. Awww Albie!!! totally gorgeous. Love his new hair all his face expressions. Its just so lovely to see how much Albie has grown. He looked so grown up.
Are you and Marcus and Albie and Fred moving back to the UK for good??
